My girlfriend and I were walking thru our local Block Buster parking lot yesterday when i noticed a JC10 T-Shirt. We instantly called out, "Hey man did you go on Jam Cruise?"
"Yes!!" He replied, "How about you?"

Naturally, we chatted for a brief moment about Jam Cruise, and carried on.
This to me is AWESOME - LONG LIVE THE LONG ARM OF JAM CRUISE!!!!!!

Well Cool...I'm over here in southern Vermont...we have around eight present and former JC'ers over here and I know of at least five JC'ers from Rochester...one of them has been on every cruise...for the past three years we get together over here for a reunion in March..we just did it a couple of weeks ago and had JC'res from New Orleans, Atlanta, Philadelphia and Rochester for the weekend..it's great to keep the "Family" together...

That sounds awesome, bummed we missed it. We'll have to catch up at the pre-party in FL. I love VT by the way - I stayed in Winooski for the winter a couple years ago, had a blast.

Hey "CoolStoreyBro"....for the past few years we have all stayed at the Bahia Cabana pre cruise...pretty much everyone at the hotel the night before departure is a JC'er...you should at least "drop by" and hang with us for a "pre party"...you'll meet the other people from Rochester I'm sure...

So when we went to Bahia Cabana before JC10 as usual we were told that the old hotel would be torn down and replaced by a Bahia Mar style structure. I tried to find any info about this project online but there is none to find. Question is of course if the rebuilding project is cancelled or if we got fed a line of BS. If it's true that they're rebuilding (and believe me, the hotel is in great need of a major ovehaul) there's no way of telling what comes after the current tiki bar. They are still taking bookings as usual, so they can't have torn it down yet.
Locals, do you know anything? Do we need to find a new watering hole?

that would be too bad "odman"...you're right it could use some work but it does serve us just fine the way it is...and it would be really sad to lose the Tiki bar area since it has become such a great hang area for us...let's hope it was some sort of BS...I didn't hear it but then I wasn't listening much to anything other than other JC'ers...LOL

That sounds grate! I heard about the Cabana after i spent the $200/night at the hotel that the JC website recommended. I learned very quickly that I made a big mistake. Anyways that's not my point, i've heard that MSC is changing ports, and leaving from Miami next year. We'll have to wait till the ports are released in a couple weeks.
