funky dead set

Mrm, while I did enjoy the set, I want to see them do something new. :) The Talking Heads set they did a few years back was great, something like that would be great.

EVERY set they do brings it. Our faves for years and years, we got engaged at the stroke of midnight at their nye show in Durango years ago. Lovin the Motet, CO represent!

They would be a great band to have back. I don't think I want another Talking Heads set though. It was awesome, but it has been done, and has been done on JC. They do so many great cover sets. I could get down with a Herbie Hancock set. They did Sly Stone before, too, but we just had that this year. They're touring with the funky Dead right now, so that would be an option. Or let them come up with something new. I am not sure about Elton John, but maybe they could do Stevie Wonder?

And Yes: If they are willing and able to do two different sets, I'd say let them go for it!

I take it back, I will gladly watch the Funk is Dead set again, haha =P If you haven't already booked them, they'll make an excellent addition.
