Ok, so.. while I admit there's still a chance I will change my mind, at this point I'm pretty sure that I'll be taking a break from JC next year.... that JC 11 will not be 8 in a row fer this gal. Anyone who's skipped a year knows this is not an easy decision to make!

I've heard a few of the "usual suspects" expect to be off the boat next year... am wondering who else is with me (so to speak) and taking a year off?
Looking for camaraderie in the agony of the decision, I s'pose....

I'm back for my 5th after missing three. It is misery when it leaves without you that first time, probably worse than being left on the dock in Jamaica.. However, life's priorities are often in flux. Good luck with your decision.

We can't seem to pull the trigger on this one either. As our trend is going, we only make even numbered JC's so far. Hoped to break that string for 11 but just can't justify the bucks for this line up. Guess it just means we get to hit more land festivals this year and have some extra time to stuff the mattress for JC12. :EH:

Since we just bought a house, and are planning a wedding for Spring 2013, Victoria and I are sitting this one out. JC11 would have been her fourth, and my fifth. We will be back.

This would have been my 5th Jam Cruise.

I LOVE this lineup, but I can't see being able to make it happen.

I am out this year. I love jam cruise and this would have been my sixth in a row. I am sorry to say this, because there are many great acts in this lineup, but I too, cannot justify the big money for this one. Much love to everyone at cloud9, and hopefully I'll return in 2014! Mwah!!

Hope I can ask this without causing a ruckus - is it moe. ? Personally, I'm looking at moe as a great opportunity to get a prime spot in the jam room for that night. :D I've tried listening to moe a number of times including BC a couple years ago and they just don't do it for me. (please don't kill me Rex).

If they added Leslie E in some form or fashion, would that change anyone's mind? That's one addition I'm really holding out for...

PS. Aaron, IMHO weddings should be for the couple, not the friends and family, ditch them and get on the ship ;)

moe. is the band I'm most excited about. Sorry for going off topic. Just had to throw that in there.

Much love sparky! Hope that if you don't end up on JC 11, you make it back for JC 12.

Hi Sparky-
Gabe & I are considering passing on this year too after 5 straight. It's going to be painful to miss one! But there are other vacations we'd like to spend the $$ & time on. (We'll be in Portland for the Furthur shows- see you there?). Our booking time is today at 12:45, so there's a small chance we'll book & decide later... not sure...

We are definitely considering that. However, I'm still not sure we'd be able to do both JC and a honeymoon, due to the $$ and the time off work. (and does this mean you don't want an invitation? )

I know, I know, "make JC your honeymoon", but we've been on JC together a few times and our honeymoon should definitely be for the couple, not the friends and family. Every vacation we've taken together since we started dating was a music festival. We need to do something different and special for the honeymoon.

Do NOT make JC the honeymoon! You guys know entirely too many people on that boat to ever get any time alone. And I still want an invitation.

I'm really sad about everyone who isn't coming. It's definitely going to make for an interesting JC. Aaron, Victoria, Ananda, Karen...you guys are such a big part of my experience. It's getting hard to feel excited. Although I hafta say Tai...Les really would bring it right back up for me. I'm looking at moe. as a jam room night too. And did you know there are 18 people in March 4th? That's 5 cabins. I think they will definitely be fun, but Jesus that's a lot of real estate.

I'm sure you'll find a way to get excited, there are certainly more of your favorite people who will still be on the boat than those who will not. I promise you'll have a good time.

I know a ton of folks who are hoping Les will be added, but Victoria and I have both said that, while we're pretty ok with our decision right now, a Les addition would make missing the boat really, really hurt.

As far as any additions go, if they've got 80 percent of the cabins pre-booked already, I'm thinking there may not be much need for C9 to make any more big additions. It doesn't sound like they need to entice too many more people to sell the boat out.
