I love those water droplets that make up an ocean that surrounds a boat filled with happy jamily! Pre-party movie, jumbotron, theater, in-room channel . . . I second the idea to get EO on the pool deck.

Wouldn't it be even better to get Christopher Guest, Michael McKean and Harry Shearer on the boat? They did a tour in 2009 with music from Spinal Tap and Might Wind.

I saw them do a live acoustic show when they were just billed as "The Folksmen" at a UCLA folk festival in the 90's. They came out and played - deadpan, of course...

That was long before A Mighty Wind.

Michael McKean was hit by a car in NYC a couple weeks ago. Broken leg, but otherwise he's fine. Crazy.

I hadn't heard that. I guess New York can be a dangerous place.

Tash Neal (London Souls) was just hit and run there too last week. :( I haven't heard any updates since he got out of brain surgery and into the ICU. Please send some energy his way.

This post was in reference to the Spinal Tap guy hit by the car. I read that while he was being helped by paramedics witnessed said he kept asking "Where is my i-phone?". Nowadays, I see so many people walking with their head looking down into their electronic hand, and this in not just in NYC. Putting those thoughts together with a coupla beers made me think that perhaps Mr. McKean couldn't dodge the car perhaps because of the eye "phone". Pure speculation though on my part...

My attempt at humor here may have missed it's mark. My heart goes out to those who have been hit by cars and have been affected by those tragedies. My apologies if I offended.

Absolutely no offense taken. It may be my morbid humor that was misinterpreted.

I guess I was making the point that it can be even worse in Los Angeles.

" Well, I'm sure I'd feel much worse if I weren't under such heavy sedation."

We've got Armadillos in our trousers. It's really quite frightening.
