I heard about that but that is NOT why I started reading about the latest .. I grew up with many Scientologists in LA and wanted to know more about how it got started and what is the process they use to get ahold on peoples lives.
I read two books about Hubbard and how he got the whole thing started in 1950 and his dealings with the Occult in the 40's .. I know y'all think I'm silly but I'm fascinated.. And I think more people should know what is going on behind closed doors and how sooooo many people are being tragically hurt every day.

scientology is just like all other religions.........just trying to confuse you into selling your soul which doesn't make sense cause you are the one paying for it

here take my soul and my money/time/mind/(this list could go on and on) too :NAUGHTY: :NAUGHTY:

I worked for a business a few years back for @ 3months. It was a family owned biz, and they practiced Scientology. They wanted everyone there to do the same. They had cameras and microphones all over the office, listened to every conversation. They played motivational dvd's on ALL the Tv's ALL day. It was freaky. I quit.

The whole frozen in Anti-Freeze and transported to Earth in DC-8 space planes, set at the base of volcano and fried when h-bombs dropped in the volcano is kind of odd.

Wow! I never expected to see replies!!

So I wrote out this long huge post and then the phone rang (3/4th of the way through.. Yes, I think you might read this now) and all of it was lost, typical iPad refresh...so here is my attempt to be as brilliant 2 glasses of Pinot later... (phone caller, you know who you are  )

I know none of us care what other people believe UntIil it hurts people.. And this Sea Org is hurting people.. I cried when I read the books & I am sobbing watching the videos on YouTube.
