I was lucky enough to attend this session, it was an absolutely amazing experience... that became even more amazing when Les Claypool showed up for the 2nd half (!!!). No Claypool in this clip but hopefully all or most of the performance will be released by TRI soon'ish

Sept tour dates to be announced soon (CO/east coast/Chicago, Cleveland - from what I've heard) -> this band is on fire, I highly recommend seeing them if they come to a town near you!!

awwwww, shucks.... thanks Denny! It was truly one of the coolest experiences of my life!

Invitation was a 50th birthday present -> I was already in heaven just getting to tour & hang out in Bobby's playground. And even though much of the technical marvel was beyond my comprehension, I know enough to recognize that it was really effin' cool!! I didn't know Claypool was coming until he walked in the door -> my jaw pretty much hit the floor & you could feel the excitement in the room grow.

Apparently the guys hung out & had a great time playing in the studio long after the recording was finished -> I would've loved to be a fly on the wall for *that*!!
