I made it out to The Hot Spot for the first time last night and WOW! The space is great. I was surprised when A.B. told me it's still a work in progress considering how amazing it looks already! Everywhere I looked were beautiful paintings, festival posters, and music themed decorations (including a sweet stained glass guitar). I especially love the skyline mural, the moon that changes phases, and of course the Jam Cruise flag flying above the bar. I can't wait to see what else A.B. has planned.
The vibe was awesome. There were lots of people there and everyone was smiling and having a good time. The whole staff really made me feel at home. The food was delicious. It was just a great night all around. I can't wait to come back and hope I can make it up to VA again asap.

Thanks for the report!! This time next week I will be prefunking for Bandalabra at the Hot Spot -> sooooo excited!! And hope to see lots of you east coast Jam Cruisers there!!!!

Finally seeing the Hot Spot after months of anticipation put a big smile on my face. For a place that has been open less than a month it already has some great soul. Good acoustics too =)
