I think it was $15 per person but I may be mistaken about that. Cash only as I recall.
I am sure they made money on Bingo as the only prizes were 2 Wakarusa tickets, 2 All Good tickets, and one smaller prize which I forget what it was now, as prizes.
And I am sure the 4 tickets they gave away were comped.

Its all good though. We like bingo. Play it at the Casino a lot although we almost never win. Its a good way to gamble for an hour and know you wont lose your life savings.

Ummmm... this isn't true. Bingo has always cost money to play. At least when I played on JC5, JC6, JC7 and JC8. $20 for three cards or something like that.

PS- I won tickets to Langerado on JC6 at bingo. It was the last year of Langerado at Big Cyprus. It was one of the best times of my life. I lived that shit up, yo!

damn. i was trying to let this thread drop off of page 1. it was like 2 threads away.
I was only going to bump this thread again if things go poorly again regarding these tickets.

I guess an update, since this thread is now up top again. The update is....... no update
still... waiting... to hear how / when / where i am going to get these tickets.
still wishing they had just given me the tickets on the boat.
still praying my situation does not end up like boca boscos 10KLF situation

There was an unfortunate incident involving the avett bros tour bus and a member of the tribe.There will never be any concerts at Big Cypress ever again.

over a week out and my bags are totally packed and ready to go! Camping out of a suitcase appears easier than I thought it would be.

Got some bug spray (they say it is important for Waka)
Got printouts of my flight info
Got printouts of my car rental info

There is one very important item (perhaps the most important item) which I dont have in my possession. I am told it will be waiting for me in Arkansas, and I am sure it will be. Still kind of wish it was already in my bag along with all the other items.

Bring one set of extra clothes and seal in a ziplock bag for your trip home. Nothing beats having clean clothes for your trip home after a festival. And nothing else besides putting your clothes in ziplock bags will keep them clean and fresh.

Dear Jam Cruise,

Thank you for the prize. Everything worked out. But I think in the future you should (whenever possible) give prizes out on the boat. In retrospect I would have taken $100 bar tab as a better prize over a promise of festival tickets 4+ months after the cruise. This is the first time I have ever (in my life) traveled across the country for a concert where I didnt have the tickets in hand from the moment I left the house.

When we arrived at Wakarusa, there was about 15 minutes of anxiety as we waited to see if the tickets would come thru. At first they said the list with our names on it "hadnt been turned in". Luckily I am a lawyer, and I had a print copy in my hand of every email regarding these tickets. I had also luckily emailed the head of Wakarusa ticketing a week before the festival and had a copy of that email.
After giving the emails to the guy at the counter, he left, and 5 or 10 minutes later returned with our pair of tickets. It was a relief when these were finally in our hands on May 30th. However it would have relieved a lot of anxiety if we had the tickets given to us on the boat. Just a thought.

Anyways, thanks for the prize and just wanted to let everyone know everything worked out. Thanks for everything.

BTW, nobody told us "wakarusa" is the indian word for "knee deep in mud"
