Hey everyone! I have gotten lots of input about kickball this year from a wide variety of people. Most of it has been people wanting to do it on the private island rather than Jamaica. I like this idea for several reasons. The first being that I like food and Jamaica is the best option for getting good food. Also it always seems like these games happen during the Positive Legacy excursions and I would like to give the LAPLers a chance to play too. I have never been on one of their excursions and I might like the chance to go.

The only issue with the private island games is that it's impossible to get a really clear idea of what the terrain looks like until we get there. Satellite imagery only gets us so far. So the current plan is to hot tub-pool-hot tub until it's time to get off the boat and then we'll all look for a field together. I will bring markers so that we can mark the way to the field for anyone who gets off late and wants to join us.

If you are a sleeper we will be bringing back the pre-game wake up calls. You can get on the list by seeing me on the boat or giving me your room number prior to the cruise. Also, I hope you're okay with losing because the Ragers are bringing their A-game.

Sleeper and cheerleader, checking in ma'am!

With any luck, this will also be the WTFunk Games theme night day, and I wont have to do a costume change ;)

That has been our only motivation for getting off port in Jamaica! I still can't believe that this is our 4th Jam Cruise and the 3rd time we are going to Jamaica just for a decent meal...

And this will be our first kickball game as well :D

I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Please C9! I know I'm a little high maintenance here, but if we could have team sports night the night before the private island life would be so perfect!

+1 to that. I might even try to coordinate my costume accordingly just for kickball if we could finagle it!

Thanks Hil. Matt and I are on board with kickball this year since it won't compete with our charity work.

We can't be traitors to team TOC, so y'all are gonna have to work extra hard to keep us up all night. Matt is the king of the sunrise slip away.

I don't mean to hijack, but this court gave me an idea. Have you ever thought of trying to set up Nathans game on JamCruise? I think it could be done on the boat in the tennis/basket ball courts. Nathan could teach the game. Just a thought.

Back to kickball.

Yeah!! The trick is to not go back to your room alone. You have to team up.

And since we don't know where the field will be I am working on a marker system so that the late starters will be able to find us. But that won't be you. GO TEAM RAGER! Also, I think you will enjoy making wake up calls too much to go to sleep.
