I don't typically yell.

Well, unless there's music playing, in which case somebody inevitably gives me the old STFUAD pose.

Or unless you're a horse or a dog that has misbehaved in the most inappropriate of ways.

But, yes, I'm with you that I haven't been super inspired by these ideas yet.

Okay, I'm going out on a limb here. I did a little research for costume theme party ideas and the best article that I came up with is here:

http://www.collegefashion.net/college-l ... rty-ideas/

I know we're not in college. I think that toga is definitely out. There were a few that I really liked here though.

Tight & Bright
ABC (Anything but Clothes)

My favorite was the Rubik's Cube, because I like the game of it. Wear the colors of the Rubik's Cube. Then swap clothes with other participants until you have an outfit that's all the same color. May not be an obvious theme to those around us, but it sounds fun and scavenger hunt-ish.

Actually, the more I think of the Rubik's Cube the more I like it. That's where my vote goes.

"-Zodiac Signs

I am flattered that you included my ideas in your list, but they were actually meant in jest. I thought that I could help get the ideas rolling if I offered some lackluster examples. So, please don't think these were meant to be taken seriously. Unless you like them. And then I will support you if you show up as a rutabega.

More ideas, just throwin'em out there :)

crossdress/gender bender
silly hats
moustache mania
people of walmart
trolls
underwater
wonkaland
the fashion of the christ (dress biblical)
no service (no shirt no shoes allowed)

I kinda really like the trolls idea, cuz they can be the cute doll kind or the big hairy evil kind or any kind you want :)

Old people! Think about it.. We can shuffle around the boat, calling each other Sonny boy. I might do it anyway.

I think we should all follow Serk around as her flock of wooly, fleecy, funky multicoloured sheep.

hahahaha this has come up many times in my circles as a group costume idea, but it never gets done. Something about being too hot to be a sheep on a ship - people can't figure out how to make scantily clad sheep costumes I guess. I would love it of course, but I'm biased :D
