Bad Weather

Sorry to be that guy but there may be a big snowstorm brewing in the northeast Thursday to Friday. We are flying in from Newark Friday morning. Check with your airlines..safe travels to all.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for scenario #2 for you:

"If the two storms merge and strengthen too far off the mid-Atlantic coast, only intermittent snow, flurries or perhaps even nothing may fall on the I-95 corridor from Philly to New York,"

Lucky for us East Coasters there's always the land route if we leave early enough, although hopefully that won't be necessary this time around.

Flying in Friday from PDX>DC then DC>Miami. Not scheduled to get into DC until 2:30pm local time and not flying out until like 6:30pm....so hoping like crazy current DC forecast models hold tight....rain>snow Thursday afternoon into night, might switch to all snow, but stopping fairly early Friday....

Need good weather karma!!!!

Our flight is supposed to leave DC>MIA at 2:20pm Friday. I am hoping the same thing! :PRAY:

Yes, I'm definitely a bit skittish here. Leaving out of LGA early Friday morning - I hope I can even get to the airport OK.

I was able to change my flight to today, airline didn't charge me any fees. Good luck all!

American Airlines is waiving change fees. I'm waiting for them to call me back to see how much the ticket price differential is going to be to fly down from New York on Thursday instead of Friday. But not sure we're going to have much choice. We're currently scheduled to fly out at 1PM on Friday, which is not looking good at this point.

So American Airlines waived all change fees and any price differences! We've changed our plans to come down tomorrow in an attempt to beat the storm.

Changing planes at JFK early thursday am, if I was passing through any later I would be scrambling to change routing or reserving a one way rental to MIA
