After looking at the January Holy Ship lineup there isn't much there that would fit on Jamcruise. Pretty lights and GRiZ would be the only artists even remotely interested in our cruise. On the February sailing there's a few, the aforementioned Fatboy Slim, Lee Foss with Annabelle Englund would be killer, Soul Clap and Claude von Stroke could also be done on the cheap.

If I could choose one from either sailing it would be Lee Foss with Annabelle Englund but he's probably getting a little more expensive these days.

Most of that stuff is pretty aggressive and would never fly on jamcruise. I like electronic and I don't know who 80% of them are. I think we're giving up on the disco and we're doing our own with our own soundsystem, no real acts just us playing the music we like . As low key as possible without angering people that don't like it. Look for us on the back deck late at night and early morning.

I can't find it on that page, but I could have sworn it said they would have a Solar Stage set too, not just confined to the disco. Methinks C9 is still paying attention to the forum. :D

Nice on the Farina. Hoping Nutritious has gotten better

I am thinking Break Science should do a late late late pooldeck set after PL any thoughts on taking the pool deck to sunrise this year?

And on a side note there will be a Collins sighting at red rocks for PL. Hope to see some of you freaks in a couple of weeks

Second show and JamRoom made my brain ZOOM......also Break Science in the Disco was so good it didn't matter where or when it was being played. Thank You again C9 for giving me what I wanted!

I have to agree with this. I didn't catch a lot of Break Science but the other two sets you mention were my favorites, along with the Grant Green Jr Jazz lounge.

If they want to do some cool electronica on the ship next year, they should work on Kraftwerk & Tangerine Dream!

Have to agree. Break Science's disco set was unreal. Pool deck would have been sweet, but I'm not into standing in hurricanes. Pretty Lights in the Jam Room blew my mind. What an amazing finale to JC13. I really, really hope that was recorded somewhere.

It was just amazing to watch the musicians start a rhythm, derek from pretty lights sample it,add to it,pass it back to the musicians for them to continue, then vice versa where Derek starts a bass and drum track and then the drummer and the bassist start to play it then the guitars and horns jump in.

Some may disagree but it was the most amazing thing to ever happen in the jamroom. It was next level genius shit.
