That would be fantastic. The Trenton show was one of the best shows I've seen this year.

hmmm with Disco Biscuits playing Jan. 4th in Wash. D.C., I guess they won't be playing a pre-cruise show in FL?

I for one would like to see MORE than 2 sets of Disco Biscuits on JC1. It would be great if they include a stealth Perfume set. Forget this date with Sammy bit, the only incentive I need is more bisco.

you can be sure that the boys will be a part of all star jams

wish we could give all the bands more love, but 2 shows is not bad!

glad you love em as much as we do...

The Perfume are The Disco Biscuits except they play disco Biscuits songs in a different style. For instance a rock tune would turn into a techno tune, techno into a bluegrass, dub tune into heavy metal, trance into ragtime, etc.

It's extremely difficult to figure out what they're playing until they get to the lyrics and even then it's hard. They've done it twice and it's bad ass and takes amazing talent.

As far as All-Star Jams go how about:

stanton-drums
bobby mac-bass
brendan from umph-guitar
barber-guitar
jj from mofro-vocals/harp
karl-horns
ET-trumpet
steve from particle-keys

doing nothing but classic rock covers.....zep, sabbath, who, stones, etc.

some other all-star jams should cover the nola funk classics, maybe just straight up techno jams w/ bisco, dj's and particle, etc.

Have a good one,

Carm

Hrrmph. No negativity here, but I think the members of the Biscuits play their best when they are playing together as a band not sitting in.

Wait.... is that herbs or did I smell THE PERFUME coming from the upper deck?

I hear ya' Julie, fair enough, but a boy can hope for Perfume!
