Both of us are now on day 4 of what started out as heavy dry coughing & achy body is now turned to extreme chest , HEAVY thick mucus w/ cough / raw throat symptoms, 103 temp , very horse voice now.
I want to point it towards our 7 hour wait at the FT lauderdale airport when we returned, but I dunno now.

I have a stuffy sneezy head cold. Not as bad as last year though.

Last year I completely lost my voice midway through the trip and was wicked sick after the cruise and Monkey Ball. I'll take a head cold any day over last year!!! :) Having a hard time sleeping at normal hours though.

I'm afraid I'm on the sick list too. It started as a scratchy throat on disembarkation morning, and progressed through full head and chest thang. I feel better than I did but it refuses to leave. I can more or less think but every so often I get very tired and dizzy.

My wife and I are both still pretty sick. We both have a couple degrees of fever, and coughing nonstop. The cough is horrible and painful, but mostly dry. My throat is sore from coughing. On top of that are occasional aches, lightheadedness and dizzyness.

We both went to the doctor yesterday who said it's viral and not much can be done. The doc was concerned about pneumonia, but we don't have that.

What's weird is my wife got sick Saturday, but I didn't come down with it until Monday. But we haven't left the house since we've been home except for the doctor visit.

Drink lots of hot liquids and a lot of lemon--it helps break down mucus.

Cough that mucus up and put it in a jar!

i just left my house for the first time since my getting sent home from work yesterday morning... and what a mistake that was!

i really needed to stock up on juice, soup, and massive comfort food if i'm gonna be holed up for the next few days but i literally almost passed out carrying out my heavy groceries.

blahhhhhh

Yesterday when I was up to 103F I had some amazing experiences, as hellish they were.
Going from shivering for hours to sweating buckets in just minutes, in complete delirium not quite sure what was real or not. Major, vivid hallucinations (not the good kind by far) attacking me in my slumber preventing me from getting any true sleep. My journeys away from the bed lasted only a minute or less before I felt the need to pass out so trips to the kitchen and bathroom had to be well planned. At one point I called the local ER to see how busy they were....but didn't go.
Today I'm down to 100.2F and although I'm still very sick, I feel like part of the real world again.
My Nita, poor thing, is still suffering, buried under layers of blankets.

dear throat and bronchial tubes,

please stop spasming and skritching and burning and feeling as if you have been assaulted by a bristly bottle brush.

love
